Christopher T. Johnson aka Chris Knite has been singing all his life. Inspired by his cousin Avant, and other artist in the R&B game like Brian McKnight, Boyz II Men, Usher, Luther Vandross and Gerald Levert. These artist have inspired him to be the artist he is today. At the young age of 12, Chris began writing and recording songs in the studio. Going by the artist name CJ he recorded his first of many songs titled, “One More Chance,” followed by another amazing track entitled, “I Apologize,”. Chris eventually joined a musical group in 2007 which later disbanded. This lead to his solo career and the name change to "Chris Knite". As a solo artist on the rise Chris’s career started to blossom. He began opening for Gorilla Zoe, Young L.A, Young Ralph, R. Kelly, Tank, TGT(tour), Avant, Bobby V., Dougie Fresh, Big Daddy Kane, Frankie Beverly & Maze (Funkfest), Plies, J. Cole, Keith Sweat, and Young Jeezy. His writing skills also grew, which landed him on some great collaborating projects with several artist including, 2Chainz, Future, Young Ralph, Emerson Windy, and Hofa Bang. Chris Knite has evolved into the next R&B sensation. He has currently released his new single titled "Ready For Love".
